Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Reward for Lost Canine in Mexican Territory to $$20k
Wales football star Ramsey has raised the bounty for information regarding the lost canine named Halo to $20,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who disappeared on 9 October, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of news concerning our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and can be back to our side soon," the athlete shared on social media.
Initial Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first announced that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has subsequently posted multiple photos of the cherished pet on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was initially offered, but with no news on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the reward.
"All we desire is Halo returned," he said in another request on social media after the decade-old dog disappeared.
The most recent image upload is a grayscale image of Halo napping, its head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the caption: "How I wish to embrace you again sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also circulated a message from his wife Colleen on social media indicating they have several "serious queries" regarding the event and worry the household "might not obtain answers".
"We still have not located our dog. I don't think we will," his wife's message expressed.
The Wales leader signed with Mexican premier team Pumas UNAM recently and made his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly athlete is the first prominent UK player to compete in the Mexican league.
